Niacinamide (also known as nicotinamide) is a form of vitamin B3 widely used in cosmetic and personal care products. It is a white crystalline powder with excellent water solubility. Niacinamide is one of the most researched skincare ingredients, known for brightening skin tone, strengthening the skin barrier, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, improving uneven skin tone, reducing redness, minimizing pore appearance, and regulating sebum production. Unlike niacin, niacinamide does not cause skin flushing, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
