Description: Hydroxytyrosol (4-(2-Hydroxyethyl)benzene-1,2-diol) is a natural polyphenolic compound mainly present in olives (fruit, leaves) and olive oil processing wastewater as the esterified form oleuropein. Free hydroxytyrosol can be obtained after hydrolysis. Studies have shown it possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial activities. This product has a purity of ≥98% and is used in cosmetics, nutraceuticals, and pharmaceutical research.
